The Brief

To advise and coordinate the extensive renovation of a listed former dance hall into five distinct, individual properties, including the provision of complimentary yet differing kitchen and bathroom tile designs and the furnishing of the first show flat. A versatile and cost efficient approach was essential, to allow for adaptation to a new property on the sale of the first show flat.

The Solution

A muted colour palette was used for this seaside house, with depth and texture playing a key role in the scheme, as the large vaulted open plan area needed to feel cosy and interesting. Bespoke, locally-made furniture was arranged to great effect, creating different zones for sitting, cooking, dining and cocooning.
